BATH'S - TUBS - Soap-Dishes - Normal or Miniatures?

Have you seen the regular bathroom
soap dishes!
Some of them are so pretty!
It is hard to decipher if they are
miniatures or normal soap holders
for your bathroom in your home,
not your miniature home!!

I bought 4 of them at the thrift store
the other day.
Some are so pretty!
Just like this green one with white
dots!!
To see this soap-dish, take a look at
Daisy's Apartment - Re-Decorated with
a bathroom.
It fit so nicely in her bathroom

I stole these 2 pics from Daisy's apartment.

At the craft store a year ago, I came across a
couple of plastic see-thru small coffins.
Each were filled with a green jelly substance.
A few colors to choose from.
Now, wish I had picked up several of them!!
They did not cost much so I picked up 2.
I did not know they had scents added in!

I put every bit of the green jelly like substance
in Daisy's tub - OH MY GOSH - it smelled
so nice!!!
Green Apples!!
As you can see from the pic above - it almost
filled up the tub!!
It is covered with plastic in hopes that it
will last awhile before the scent dissipates.

Found this brass one and this is just lovely.
It has a gorgeous
patina on it with a little green.
Not sure you can see it very well.
This will be going into an apartment.

Inside the brass tub.

Love all of the scratches!

You might remember seeing the bottom soap dish
that has the blue heart on it.
I also saw one with a pink heart on it.
It is a little country, but hey it
works for me.

The opaque plastic one looks cool!
You could paint it in another color if you wish.
Was thinking about painting it,
but got scared.
I am not a good painter.
Might try painting the inside of the tub white later.
Then perhaps paint the outside in a color.
Maybe I will do that when I find another one,
just in case I mess it up!
Love it though and would love to use it!

Up close with the country bathtub.
There was not a dent or a scratch on it.

Was well cared for!

KITCHENS - The Playschool Kitchen Is Painted

I WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME ALL
OF YOU THAT ARE NEW TO MY
BLOG! I HOPE THAT YOU FIND IT
INFORMATIVE AND LIKE WHAT
YOU SEE.
ANYWAY REMEMBER TO SIGN UP
FOR THE GIVEAWAY!!

Sorry, it has been so long for you to see
what I did with this kitchen.
I tore up a plastic dollhouse
just to get that kitchen.
I am so awful aren't I.
And I do admit it.
That is the worst part about it!
However it does have its benefits.
Testament is to this kitchen.

If you do not remember what this
little kitchen looked like before,
then just scroll down to the very bottom of these
pics and take a look at it.
Do you remember the kitchen now.
This kitchen belonged to the
Playschool dollhouse that fit Barbie Kelly.

I liked the colors before it was painted and I
had a hard time deciding if I wanted it back
to those colors.
However it did look tooo busy for
what I had planned!
So, in the end the white won!
My granddaughter
Elise lovingly took the little kitchen home and
spray painted it white for me.
She did a wonderful job!!
Thank you Elise!

The white color
makes the little kitchen seem more expensive
than what it really is.
It offers lots of storage.
And a place on top to store decorative items.

I think that the oven and below the sink need
a shelf.

There is plenty of storage to hold dishes and food.

And this space is big enough to place a make-shift shelf
inside and that is what I am going to do.

 This the side view.

The back offers a little spot to store something
inside or I guess I could add a shelf.
I don't know
yet what I will do here for this little nook.
It could easily make a nice hiding place.

This side will probably go against a wall.

Nice white clean tile, sink & faucets!

Here is the before picture. Remember it now!

By the way I have been re-decorating the apartments.
They are receiving bathrooms!
This kitchen fits great inside one of the apartments.
It is the correct size - so if you get your hands on
one of them then make it yours.
Can you guess which apartment is going to receive
this new rare gem!
Thanks for stopping by!

Mother's Day Gifts

I WELCOME ALL OF THE NEW
FOLLOWERS. I HOPE THAT YOU
ENJOY THIS BLOG. AND I SURELY
DO HOPE THAT YOU HAVE LEFT
A COMMENT FOR THE GIVEAWAY!!

Sorry that I am late in posting. I
have been really busy.
This is the last of my Mother's Day
gifts. My hubby bought me the little
Raggedy Ann and Andy. They are so
cute and tiny. Raggedy Ann even has a small
heart on her pinafore! Every little girl needs
a doll. They are from Pamela Junks
Etsy store. Click here to see the other dolls she carries.
Pamela's dolls are poseable. And right
now she is giving a little house kit with
each doll. Those parts are so tiny. When
my eyes heal I plan on glueing them together.
These cute items were given to me by Pep. They come
from this etsy. So be sure to click here to see
the pretty things that she carries. I love her plates!
The aprons are lined. I guess the little pink suitcase is
true to scale. But for me it is a little too small. I would
have preferred that one to be a little bigger.
As you can see, I am trying to collect some little
dolls. This little dolls name is Hayley.
I hope that you enjoy looking at the mini's. I sure
am enjoying holding them and trying to decide
where to put them.

A Thoughtful Gift

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO WELCOME EACH
AND EVERY ONE OF MY NEW FOLLOWERS
TO MY BLOG. IF YOU HAVE NOT OR DO NOT
KNOW THAT THERE IS A GIVEAWAY GOING
ON - WELL IT IS STILL ON - SO FIND THE
WICKER SET AND LEAVE A COMMENT.

Catherine over at
is such a thoughtful lady. She
sent to me a gift of miniatures.
Small pots and big pots. Maybe now I can dig in the
dirt without my allergies killing me. Lol's.
The cross stitched Hen with the green apron on is
just adorable. I definitely have to put these barnyard
critters in a little scene with some toile. I am thinking
about taking the tall roosters and making them to
imitate door stoppers. The kitchens do need some
foods. The little sewing machine broke. Kind of
makes me sad. Many times
we have glued it and it still comes apart. So I think
that I am going to cut it away from the base and make
a carrying lid for it. That will look so cute.
A little dummy that is all ready to be used.
The little blue doll is so cute. I might add some
lace to her dress. I like her. I am not sure how old
she is, so I will ask Catherine before I redot
her eye. She is one of my favorites.
I had been looking for some thin gloves for a
long time and was not able to find any. Catherine
sent me a brown pair. Inside they are lined with
some pretty fuzzy cream material. I will have to
be sparing with that fabric. Love that chocolate
brown.
Catherine had been wanting to make me some bed
blankets that looked crocheted and knitted. She took
2 of her sweaters and cut me out doll blankets. A
white one with 2 designs built in and a cream one that
feels so delicate. Every bed needs a blanket under the
comforter!
Look Catherine - you did cut and hem it to the
correct size. See how good they look on Permelia's
bed. They drape nice. Catherine also sent me some
little spools, clothespins and a cat sitting in a
basket. He is removeable. Also 3 little resin pillows
wrapped up by a ribbon. So darling.
My favorite are the 3 little flocked dogs. The cute little white
bishon is adorable. I am not sure what the names of
the other dogs are but they are certainly just as cute.
The little tea set is just a little bit big but I am hoping
that I can incorporate them somehow into a mini room.
The sweaters look so nice on the beds. Of course
they will not stay on the witch's beds. But they will
be used. This is a great idea of using your sweaters
- into bed linens.
This one is the cream blanket.
 This is the white blanket.
Thank you so much Catherine. I like it all.
