APARTMENT WITCH PERMELIA - SKELETON HAT STANDS

Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my blog and
thank you for following me.

It has rained for 2 weeks.
I love it when it rains.
This is the time that I always
get out of my house.

These were fun and fast to make!
I demolished a couple of my
skeletons!

I cut them off! Yep, I cut them off
at the base of their necks
and stuck them in a wooden wheel
that had a hole in it.
I painted it red and glued his
neck in it!

Permelia loves them!
She cannot wait to make more!
Perhaps I should slit open their mouths
so they speak.
Permelia wants to thing about that - she is afraid
that they will sass her!
See they have attitudes!
Look at the skeleton in the green hat - she
could be mouthy!

Permelia is straightening up some.
Thanks for visiting me!

Cross-stitched Rugs

First I would like to thank all of you lovely
people for becoming my followers and taking
the time to stop by and say hello!

What do you do with a sweet lady
that does not do any miniatures but sends
you 2 sweet rugs that she cross stitched.
Catherine from Diamond C from:
Both of the little rugs are light and airy yet soft
to the touch.
A close-up of the pink and blue heart rug. Just the right
colors of blue and pink.
A close-up of this beauty! Blue flowers and lilac.
Both of these rugs are going into the Van Buren dollhouse.
She also sent me these composition books. They do
not have any paper on the inside and I like that.
This way I can add my own and title the little
journals! Maybe some diary's.
Thank you so much Catherine, for the beautiful
rugs and the journals! I love them.
Thanks for visiting me!

Thrift Store - TURN BINGO CHIPS INTO PLATES!!

Welcome to my blog!
Thank you for your wonderful
comments.
It is very much appreciated.

Do you need some cheap plates.
Look no further!
These BINGO CHIPS are just the right size
and they are not heavy!
They come magnetic or unmagnetic and they
come in red and green.
Not sure
if they have other colors or not.
I did not pay
this price for them - they were only 50 cents
at the thrift store.
AND LOOK there are 200 in each package!
That's a lot of plates!!!
Include these in your kitchen projects!

You can use these as they are or you
can glue pretty papers to them on the
fronts and the backs.
You can also take a gold
pen to the edges to give them a china effect.
If I were not so busy then I would have
glued on paper or painted some of them
 to show you.
As of now, I have not had the time
to mess with them.
I would love to
see what you do with these plates.
You can give some of these away!
Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

CLOTHES - A Shabby Chic Closet With Nightgown And Robe

The intended use for this little
cabinet when bought new was as
a food pantry.

The bottom 2 pics show what the pantry
used to look like.
This is what it is now.
I have been working on this for several months
among other things.

I hope that you
like what I have done.
First I tore out the shelves.
That took some doing!
You can actually
see the lines where I took them out at.
I left it like that cause
I like the character that it gives.
When you have a hard time
seeing, then mistakes comes very
easy and are hard to fix once you make them.

Anyway I had seen on blogs where some
very talented ladies had made
some Faux Drawers.
That sure did intrigue me when I
was looking at this pantry.
Sorry, that I cannot
remember what the name of those blogs were.
Anyway the bottom shelf is a small faux drawer.
The bottom shelf is made from balsa wood.
I took off the red knobs and dug out
little holes from the new drawer
and glued them in.
Afterwards I gave the entire cabinet a white
washed effect.
If some areas did not have paint
on it then I did not worry about it.

The pretty pink hi-heels are actually
earrings.
They came from Claire's boutique
and were very cheap.
I could not resist buying 2 pairs of them.

The little blue dress was a small
Barbie doll dress that was the perfect
size for a small miniature dress.
A little bit of
gathering around the waist makes it fit
the small doll.
This dress is the only
thing on the closet that has bold color.

I am hoping that you can see in this picture
what I lined the doors with.
It is merely white bridal tulle.
The tulle is soft and not scratchy.

About 15 years ago I made the little hat out of
yellow felt.
It has pink ribbon glued around the brim
with the same ribbon for the ties.
The hat sits on top of the closet nonchalantly.

The little yellow book is titled Gone with the Wind.
It stands in there nicely.
The bathing suit was just an afterthought to display it.

The white robe and matching nightgown, I made from
a very thin almost worn piece of cotton.
I do not
know if you can see it or not but there are gathers
going around her waist.
I added a little loop on the robe
for hanging.
I generally make all of my clothes to fit my dolls.
So that is why they are a little long.

This pic shows the bottom half of the robe and
the nightgown.
The drawer shows up better in this pic also.

I wanted you to see what I used to hang the robe on.
I took 2 jewelry pins and glued them down on both
sides of the closet to hold clothes.

Remember now what this little food pantry
looked like.
It used to be in widow Sarah's apartment.
And by the way widow Sarah does not own
this closet anymore.
In fact a new tenant named Amanda Grace
occupies the space.
I hope to show you that apartment soon.

Here is the inside of the food pantry.
All of the
items were glued down to the shelves.
I had no
other choice but to rip them all out.
Apparently I like to tear up things!
Hope you have enjoyed my shabby chic closet.
It was destined to have a new life!
Thanks for stopping by!

BATH'S - TUBS - Soap-Dishes - Normal or Miniatures?

Have you seen the regular bathroom
soap dishes!
Some of them are so pretty!
It is hard to decipher if they are
miniatures or normal soap holders
for your bathroom in your home,
not your miniature home!!

I bought 4 of them at the thrift store
the other day.
Some are so pretty!
Just like this green one with white
dots!!
To see this soap-dish, take a look at
Daisy's Apartment - Re-Decorated with
a bathroom.
It fit so nicely in her bathroom

I stole these 2 pics from Daisy's apartment.

At the craft store a year ago, I came across a
couple of plastic see-thru small coffins.
Each were filled with a green jelly substance.
A few colors to choose from.
Now, wish I had picked up several of them!!
They did not cost much so I picked up 2.
I did not know they had scents added in!

I put every bit of the green jelly like substance
in Daisy's tub - OH MY GOSH - it smelled
so nice!!!
Green Apples!!
As you can see from the pic above - it almost
filled up the tub!!
It is covered with plastic in hopes that it
will last awhile before the scent dissipates.

Found this brass one and this is just lovely.
It has a gorgeous
patina on it with a little green.
Not sure you can see it very well.
This will be going into an apartment.

Inside the brass tub.

Love all of the scratches!

You might remember seeing the bottom soap dish
that has the blue heart on it.
I also saw one with a pink heart on it.
It is a little country, but hey it
works for me.

The opaque plastic one looks cool!
You could paint it in another color if you wish.
Was thinking about painting it,
but got scared.
I am not a good painter.
Might try painting the inside of the tub white later.
Then perhaps paint the outside in a color.
Maybe I will do that when I find another one,
just in case I mess it up!
Love it though and would love to use it!

Up close with the country bathtub.
There was not a dent or a scratch on it.

Was well cared for!

WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OF THE
BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE OUT
THERE THAT VISIT MY BLOG.

THANK YOU FOR COMING BACK.

AS FOR MY NEW FOLLOWERS
THANKS FOR COMING ON BOARD!
Thanks for stopping by!
