Apartment #12 - Diana's Walls and Floor papers

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for your sweet comments.
I hope all of you have been well.

I do not know how your weather
has been, but some days it is warm,
some days it is chilly.
What is the weather doing?

I wanted to give you an update
on the apartment. I hope you
like it so far.

I absolutely love this floor. It updates the apartment
and looks great. I have tried for so many days to
get a good photo but the lighting has been awful
here. So here it goes anyway. The right side of the
wall is papered to look like planks. I only use a
little glue at the top and bottom of the papers on
the walls. When I smoothed down the paper, I did
not realize that I did not smooth it down good
enough. The back wall is just plain white. A little
distraction it is.

I had to piece the floor together. It looks really great
against the wallpaper.

Looking inside the window you can see the closet
that I put in beside the main door into the apartment.

A better view of the little closet.

This is paper that I used for the walls.

PRINTABLE - EASTER BUNNY IN A BOX

Hello You all.
Welcome to my blog.
Google has been
treating me okay now.
Letting me become
a follower to your blogs.
Whew - glad that is fixed!
Thank you all for your sweet comments!
I cannot wait to see the baby.
Next month
I will know what sex the baby is.
Ya-hoo!!
My grandson got some chocolate for
Easter.
I thought that I would scan it for
you, that is, If you do not mind it being
in English.
HAPPY EASTER!!
NOTE: These have not been made yet
by me yet. Have not had the time.
YOU MUST REDUCE THESE
TO 1 INCH OR LESS!!!!
Print out on card and cut out the
white card that holds the bunny.
Be sure to cut out the bunny shape
on this box and replace it
with some plastic
wrap or some thin clear plastic.
Fold into a box shape,
Glue 2 sides closed.
Leave 1 side open to insert the bunny
picture.
Glue it down so it does not move.
Glue box closed and display on the table.
 Please stop by again!

Hello Everyone!
Hope all is well.

I do not know what happened, but it is good.
Today I got on google to follow some blogs,
and it worked!
Boy, was I glad!
Now I am a follower of
Mini Additions and many other blogs.
I am glad that my circle of friends are still here.

I wanted to show you 2 book covers that I made
to go on the books that I cut out.
These book covers
were easy to make.
I would like to put them on my
blog for you to copy but I do not know if it is legal
or not???
Do you know?
I will post them, if someone knows for sure that it
is okay.

Apartment #12 - Diana's Apartment Begins

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for the sweet comments. They
are greatly appreciated. I did not
realize that there was so much problems
with trying to follow a blog. I have
tried to follow at least 8 more people
and that has made me frustrated.
I am wondering if perhaps the problem
is with 'following people on google'.
I must say that it has only been following
with those pictures that this problem
has started with me.
Has anyone noticed that this is where their
problem started??
I have thought about getting rid of all of
that, just to see if that is where the
problem lies?

Thank you KIKKA for the interesting
comment that you left. That is a good
idea!

Anyway enough of that.

I do want to say that I was recently informed
that I am going to be a great grandma on 1 December!
This was a complete surprise!!
There is so much to do. I hope to be able to keep up!

I have started on the top floor of the New York
apartment building. There will be 2 apartments
on this floor. Each apartment is 10 inches wide
and 15 inches long.
I painted all the walls, ceiling and the floors white
on this top floor. Both apartments will be in a
shabby chic style.

The wallpaper for this apartment was saved from the net.
I found it while looking through scrapbook papers. This is
shabby and I love it!! I printed it out on printer paper
and pasted it onto the wall with modge podge. For this
apartment I like how the roses are a little big and the
stripes are fat!
There are 2 small little walls. The door to the apartment
will be against the white wall. The other little
wall makes a small alcove or a niche.

I am not finished yet with this apartment. There will
be a kitchen and a bathroom in here. A living area
with a bedroom will be in this space. As you can
see the bay window still needs painting. The outside
of that window also needs painting. I am slow but
I am getting there.

The shabby chic scrapbook paper was used on
a box that I recently sent to a friend of mine. It is
lovely.
You can see the box and what I made on my
other blog: remakeremixreuse.blogspot.com

When you print this out on printer paper, it
is not a thick paper so it is easier to adhere to
anything! The bubbles are easier to get out
also.
Here is the paper that I printed out to use on
the walls. It took about 3 of these papers to
wallpaper this wall with the little side walls.
And each side wall is wallpapered on both
sides.
Isn't this so pretty!!
Thank you for visiting me!
