'KATHI KUTI Doll with Room box #2' - by Lesley Jacoby

Hello Everyone!!

Hope everyone is well.

Thank you for the sweet comments.

I thought I would give the Penthouse apartment
a little rest for about 2 weeks and then
try again.
It gives me a chance to re-group and think of
something new.

In the meantime I thought you would love to see
another room box by Lesley Jacoby.

She has 2 room boxes with Kathi Kutti.
The other one has already been posted and
this is the 2nd and the last one.

Hope you enjoy the pics!
I love this room box too!!!

Apparently it starts out with a book
called Tatterhood by Lauren Mills.
I have not read it yet but would like
too.
Am sure it would adorable!

Here is a little excerpt of the book.
It is always good to read these.

Picture of Kathi Kutti doll.

This is on the back of the picture.
Here is the name and where they are
made at.
Am sure you can google her name and
her work will show up Pinterest.

Here is the little setting that Lesley put together
in a room box.
All 3 dolls reside here.
Lesley made the little cart.

Here is the little red haired doll!!
I just love her patches and all!!

Some of this is self explanatory.
Be sure to look at all of the detail in her
dress and her cape.

Isn't the birds nest so cute in her
hood!
Lovely details!!!

Even the stone looks great!

This doll is named Annette and made by
Sue Ann of Little Lovables

Ooo I had to show a close up of the
snood!!
I love that detail!!

Hope you loved seeing this as much as
I did!!!

Thank you for visiting me!!

Apartment Penthouse #4 - With the round bed I made!

Hello Everybody!!
Hope all is well.

(my headers are always the same).
I try to keep it simple.

Well, no stopping now - just as well
try another plan!!
I removed the bathroom to make the
play area larger.
Thought I would try the round bed
that I made a few years ago.
Added a vanity beside it.

The mirror is just propped up there
for the time being.

I thought I would keep this spacious looking.
Perhaps not keep it so crowded.
Not sure how I feel about it.
And as you have noticed - Lucille plopped
herself back down on the vanity stool.
She is trying to claim this apartment but it
is not happening!!

I tried this closet, perhaps it is too shabby.
The paint is peeling off of it.

I kind of like the peeling paint.
I don't think this closet belongs here.
Must go in a shabby room!

As you can see I moved the bathroom back
in its original spot.
The kitchen is on the other side of the bathroom
wall.
I can tell you right now - I do not like this
arrangement at all!!!
Lols!!

Okay - I think that I found a new idea!!!

Apartment Penthouse #4 - With this arrangement!

Hello Everyone!!
Hope this posting find you all well and
enjoying your miniatures!

I tried everyone's suggestions, but either
I did not have small enough items to use,
or things were too big for the space.
This is always my problem.

No telling how long it will take me to start
getting this apartment into shape.
I do like the kitchen in this spot!

Sorry ladies, I did forget to put a picture
of where I was playing in the kitchen.
Starting off in the kitchen with a photo or 2.

From other views the kitchen looks really
spacious, but truly I hope you can tell
from this picture that it isn't.

One of my porcelain dolls dressed in pink
(her backside) in the background.

It is hard to see, but I did add a chair
beside the sink with a few pots there.
You can see the bottom of the chair
under the white shade.
The only way to get the chaise in there
was to angle it in.
Which a table and chairs or a bar/island of
some sort could go in this area
But I would have to find one first and
have that vision for it before I order one.

Perhaps this is better picture with
the chair.

You can blow up the kitchen from this
picture.
I should have taken another picture
from the window to show you that the
chaise and the table are only a little
fingernail width from each other.

The 3 dolls are still in here, must look
around for doll for this space.
This is where I put the dressing area.
The ladies are all talking about tonight's
performance!

There is lots of room behind the doll
for this bed, but not Julie's bed.
Julie's bed is too big!
This bed is much smaller and I
accidentally broke it at the bottom
post (in the front), near the doll
at the window.
If miniatures do not stay put - they have
a big chance of getting broken!
Darn it!!
It was one of my favorite pieces.

View with the bed, bathroom and kitchen.
Room in the bedroom, dressing area.

Just a view from the window.
Funny how you can see things with a
camera and not with the naked eye.
I never noticed that the bathroom wall
with the door on it did not go flush
with the windows.
It fit lots better on the other side of
the room.

Just as well as to take another view of
the dressing area over here where the
kitchen once was.
In a penthouse is the bedroom the first
thing you see?
Perhaps not.

Just thought I would show the doll
face as she is looking in the mirror.
This view from the window.

I took this view from the window looking
in.
Lots of wasted space here!

Just peeking in!
I always like to peek in thru windows
after playing just to see if all looks
good.

I don't think this room will stay like
this, so it is back to the drawing
board!!!

Thank you for visiting me!!

Apartment Penthouse #4 - Kitchen moved again!

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for commenting.
I really did enjoy your suggestions.

Does anyone else have a problem finding
where a blog is once that person
becomes a follower?
I do.
When I click on the persons picture
my blogger will not take me there!!
It does not show me where you are!
Does anyone know how I can fix that?
I have had this problem for well
over a year or longer!
I used to think that everyone else
had the same issue as I do,
but now am not so sure!
Would appreciate help with this.
Thank you.

I do believe that I am getting closer
to solving this Penthouse!

Okay, so I moved everything out
of the Penthouse once again except
for the bathroom.
For now it will stay.

So, here is the kitchen moved to
the other side of the bathroom,
left of the front door.
This is the first time that I have tried
the kitchen over there with a
bathroom beside it.

I must say that I do like that.
The sink and refrigerator seems to fit nicely.

I think the pictures are big enough, but not
sure.
Been so busy that I cannot remember the size of them.

Not sure if the chaise and table should
be there, but then again what doll
does end up inhabiting this space,
will not be eating there.
To her it will just be for looks.

I removed the 2 bathroom walls so I could move
the stuff around.
It was hard to get to in order to see how far
back the chaise could go.

Looks roomy!
I hate to put a stove in there.

I am starting to like this arrangement!

You caught me peeking thru a window again!
Have had this chaise for ages.
Would like to find it a home eventually.

For some reason, this was the best pic
I could get thru the window.
Sorry about that.
Am happy it looks roomy.

Not bad, what do you think
about this arrangement?
My friend Lynda Meyers crocheted
the little doily and gave it to me.
She is on Ebay.
Just type in crochet bedspreads.
Hers are lovely!!!
She keeps her prices as low as possible
and that includes shipping.

I think that kitchen is big enough for an island!
Maybe I better think about a small table
and chairs for this space.

Thank you for stopping by!!
