The lady of the Penthouse does a little bit
of stitching. And whenever she stitches her old
shoe pincushion follows her to this little
cosy corner. Lots of laughs!
This was my first attempt at making a little
pincushion. Why - any home would be lost without one!
Its not a tomato but I did use it as my prototype.
I didnt want a ho-hum type of
pincushion like you see everyday. I wanted
to make it a little special like a hand me down
kind of thing. The pincushion sits on a piece of
old lace that I cut up. My hopes is that the lace
will look a little tattered and used.
The piece hanging down is
suppose to be a little strawberry. I admit that
it doesnt quite look like one, but I dont
think that I did too badly. I have some more of
these types of shoes that need pincushions in them.
Me think that I will be making pincushions to go
into alot of things.
(I AM NOT SURE IF MY PHOTOS ARE BLURRY.
IF THEY ARE - THEN I AM SORRY FOR THIS -
BUT I REALLY CANNOT TELL
BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS BLURRY TO ME).
After next month I hope for all of my photos to look great!!
Here is a close-up of my little strawberry. It is a little big
and it doesnt resemble a strawberry. Perhaps thats good
that it doesnt. Now I need to stick it with some pins!
This is the top. Gee - I hope that I get better at this.
