He is a very good baby.

It is made of resin.

And I have owned it since 1990s.

Cannot remember where I bought it from.

Apartment John Donovan or J.D. - Furniture in Apartment

John Donovan does not have much

furniture.

In his apartment, there are
2 of these bookcases.

 

 

A brown leather book that I made.

 

The book  opens so that

you can put something in it. 

 

This resin chair looks good in J.D.s apartment.

J.D. bought this trunk at an antique store.

He does not mind the pink, since it is old.

This is the bed that I used in his

apartment.

I have 2 of these.

But I have lost the

bedding throughout the years.

J.D. loves furniture like this.

 

J.D. loves this long coffee table.

I do not remember where I got this piece.

 



I love this pencil sharpener.

It is so ornate!

J.D. loves his old-fashioned typewriter!

 

I made these satchel bags back in 1995.

J.D.s briefcase and his man bag.

The briefcase is a brass metal.

I made the man bag.

I have had these 2 items since the early 90s.

Do not know where I got the brass metal briefcase from.

 

The briefcase opens up.

A little mirror used to be here.

I did not think that a briefcase

needed a mirror, so I removed it.

I do need to fix this for J.D.

 

 

Inside J.D.s man bag.

I glued on a mirror.

 

It is so old that the glue is starting to

yellow and look yucky.

That is a good thing.

 

This is the desk that I had the 90s.

I never liked this color.

I painted it brown.

 

All 3 of these fabrics were silk men's ties.

Am not sure how old these men's ties were

before I bought them and cut them up.

 

The inside fabric looked good on the backside

of the burgundy print.

 

I tried to co-ordinate all 3 fabrics.

 

The burgundy silk is used like a blanket.

I had to sew 2 sides together to get enough

fabric to make a blanket.

 

But when you turn it over, the seam is hidden.

CLOTHES - Pink dress With Jacket And Purse And With A Matching Bed Cover

Found a small lovely blouse just big enough to make

these items out of it.

I glued the items together - first time for everything

right!

Well, yes I figured out really quick that I do not like

glue on clothes!

And I will never do that again, unless it is gluing

on straps.

 

Glue makes the clothes stiff.

 

I did sew the sides of the bed cover.

So, I am happy with this.

There was not even enough of the blouse to make

bed pillows with.

 

It is a sweet set!

Apartment John Donovan or J.D. - Wallpapered and Floored

John Donovan is a writer.

He writes for a  newspaper and is

writing an article about the

French Quarter.

No telling how long he will live

here as he travels far and wide

sometimes.

Lives for his work.

John Donovan is the first tenant

in this apartment.

He likes the open layout. 

But certainly it lacks some amenities.

For instance: a bathroom.

The apartment has been wallpapered with

scrapbook paper.

The chocolate brown is construction paper.

The brick look floors is cloth.

Entrance into the apartment is thru one of these

French doors. 

Well, J.D. asked the landlady to remove the door

knobs so that he could use this space without

the fear of anyone opening his door onto

his table - or whatever was there.

She obliged and took them off.

The door is now permanently locked

until he moves out.

Also work needs to be done with molding

in between them.

 The little sink area and ice box used to be white.

I painted them a grey.

The picture makes them look blue to me.

Kitchen, dining area, seating area are on facing the 

French doors.

What a nice fireplace!

The tall brown rectangle against the wall is where

a mock foyer is for the outside door

that takes you up to the different floors.

No stairs - you must pretend that it is 

just an elevator on the other

side of that wall.

The area is not that bad really.

It is just enough space for a single person.

This area shows where the other door was

being fitted to go in that space.

The tall brown box shape is merely cardboard

painted brown.

It hides the main door that leads up to

the other floors.

The other side shows bedroom area and

whatever area you want it to be.

Here 3 windows are in.

Another needs to be fixed

and then these are finished.

This shows only 2 windows are in.

Almost done.
