My Santa Christmas Room

 My Christmas Santa Room

Hello Everyone!

Sorry that I have not posted. I have been Super Busy!
I stopped on most of things that I was working on so
I could work on this project from the
Miniature Group that I belong to.
Every time I try to get ahead - I get slower!

Thought I would try starting early and
hopefully I can finish this by Christmas
and post it when finished.

My Santa Christmas Room will be going into
a large football plastic case.
This fits it perfectly.
It is made  from Gator Board and glued together.
I cut strips and glued to the outside
aligning them up with the window.
Am not sure what I will put there in that
little corner.

This is the inside.
Am hoping that I can do the little space
justice.
If you have any ideas - I would love some.

Thank you for visiting me.
Enjoy!!

  2. Hi Conny! Glad you are safe, busy and creative! I love the room box and that it will have a protective cover.
The inside definitely has to have a fireplace and a Christmas tree. Then on the outside corner, maybe Santa could be peeking in the window to make sure everyone is asleep.
Whatever you decide on, it will be so much fun in the great structure you made, and I am excited to see it!

    1. Hello Jodi! Thank you. Yes I think it needs a fireplace and a Christmas tree.
I do like your idea! Never thought of Santa peeking in.
Thank you again. I hope that I don't let you down.

    1. Hello Isabel,
I have tried. I want a fireplace but I need to make one - a thin one! Hehehe

  8. I love Jodi's idea of Santa peeking in -- or a child peeking in trying to see the toys under the tree. It's a lovely space. I hope you have time to finish it. What are you working on with your club?

    1. Hello Penelope,
I do love Jodi's idea too. But I dont seem to be able to make a Christmas room out of it. Perhaps I am trying to put too much in there, bit it is not turning out the way I had hoped. Thank you. I had hoped to have this roombox done but that didn't work out. I have missed the last 2 meetings so I don't know. What are you working on? Are you with a club too?

  9. Hello 'the grandmommy',
When I was working on the room, none of my stuff wanted to fit. Had a hard time. Figured out I need to make a fireplace and rethink what goes in there. Anyway in February the entire family got covid so everyone bounced back except for me. Right now it is the residual that is getting to me. Hopefully I can get this gone and get back to work on the santa house.
    Mini huggs,
    Conny
