I know we have a few months before Halloween
arrives but sometimes I jump the gun if
inspiration and ideas start flowing.
And this is one of those times.
I had been seeing those booknooks around on
Pinterest and Etsy and they are cute!!
Thought if ever a skinny box got in my hands that
I would try to make something similar.
Although I am not experienced as many are.
I did get an idea for this box.
Hope you get some ideas too.
Months ago at our last miniature group
meeting a lady came in with a few items
that she did not want.
Well, need I say that I am one of those that
will take anything given to me.
LOLS!! Lo and behold there was this box and lid!
Smaller than a shoebox,
The box is blue and white toile with pretty ribbons
for carrying it.

Your new Toile box appears to the be perfect size for making a custom book nook of your own and I'm excited to see how you'll transform it!
Hello Elizabeth, Aren't those booknooks amazing! Some real talent there. I would not know where to big to make mine look like that. Am sure that mine will not even come close to the ones they are making out there. Am glad that you found them. Just remember I am not as experienced as you are but I am positive that you could pull one of these off!! I would love some instructions and tutorials from you to help people like us make one of these booknooks.

Oh what a perfect box for a book nook! I think starting a Halloween project now is SMART and I can't wait to see what your ideas are!!!

Book-Nooks are a trend now. There are video tutorials on You-tube to inspire you if you wish. It's a good idea and the box looks perfect.

I never realized that there were video tutes on the book nooks. I have been studying them and the video's make it look easy. I will need to collect more of these boxes if I can find them. Although I had something different planned for this box - I hope that I can combine my ideas into one. Thank you for this information.
